Rental Terms and Conditions


It is important to remember that renting a house is different from booking a room in a hotel, with breakfast or “resort”. The benefits of renting a home include having an experience of being in a home with all the real home benefits available during your stay.

In addition to the bedrooms and bathrooms, the houses offer living areas, fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, and a CD player. We also have “wireless” internet in all homes.

A satisfied customer is one who rents a house and makes use of it in the same way that he makes use of his own house.


PAYMENTS – If you choose to pay via bank transfer, a 30% deposit must be paid within 4 days of booking. Until then, a PROVISIONAL reservation is made (until the deposit is actually made, the reservation remains pending and can therefore be booked by another customer).

The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the reservation and the balance can be paid during the stay. Casas Valleparaizo will contact you when your reservation is confirmed.

Customers also have the opportunity to make online payments using their credit card or paypal account.


CLEANING SERVICE – We have cleaning service three times a week, Monday through Friday, for all houses. Please note that we do not have a cleaning service on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and public holidays. Cleaning service includes: bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and fireplace. The cleaning of pots, plates, glasses, cutlery in the kitchen is not part of the daily service, as well as cleaning the barbecue. However, if there is time, attention will be paid to the kitchen.

INSURANCE – Please note that there is no holiday insurance included in the booking, so you may want to opt for this solution through your insurance broker or travel agency, where you booked your plane tickets. We recommend that you consider the following covered items: cancellation, personal accident, medical expenses, lost luggage, money robot, legal documents, etc. If you are bringing valuable items with you on holiday, please ensure that they are always with you at all times. Always put your money in the safe or always have it with you. The management of Casas Valleparaizo does not have any responsibility for any personal loss, as all houses have their own personal safe.

Casas Valleparaizo is not responsible and does not accept responsibility for any loss.


LIABILITY – In an extraordinary case, very unlikely to happen, where the house becomes unavailable, after confirmation has been sent to you (and payment has been made in full), we will advise. In the event that the house is sold or has an operational problem, every effort will be made to relocate it and/or find a better alternative, before fully refunding it. Our aim is to offer you an alternative accommodation equal to or better than the one booked. If the alternative is not found, we will refund all payments received.


COMPLAINTS – In the event that you have a complaint during your vacation, please inform the Housekeeper immediately, who will do her best to resolve the issue without delay. For any complaint you can request the complaints book.


SATISFACTION QUESTIONNAIRE – For those who want to record any facts and points of view, all customers are provided with a Questionnaire that can be completed and left at home upon departure. Management thanks you for your kind cooperation in filling out this form.


ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE – There are no specific days for arrivals and/or departures (as we have flights every day of the week). The houses are ready for arrivals at 2.00 pm and departure time is until 12.00 pm. Please help us ensure the house is ready for your arrival by informing us of your flight details and approximate arrival time. If you arrive at times when we have no one at work (opening hours, from 10:00 to 18:00), on Saturdays or Sundays, you must let us know so that someone will be waiting for you at the Motherhouse.

We recommend that you come directly from the airport to Casas Valleparaízo, as there is occasionally the possibility of occupying the house earlier, and otherwise you can always go shopping very close. Minimum stay is 2 nights. Occasionally it is possible for the client to check out later, so please contact the Housekeeper.


ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Please note that once you have made a reservation with payment, you are accepting these TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
