Golf
Madeira Island has to offer, among many other wonders, two magnificent golf courses, namely Palheiro Golf (2km away from Valle Paraízo Cottages) and Santo da Serra Golf Club (8km away from Valle Paraízo Cottages). Between these two courses there are forty-five holes for the delight of golfers and golf lovers. Our Island is the stage for the Madeira Island Open tournament, which takes place annually at the Porto Santo Golf Club.
