Rental Terms and Conditions
It is important to remember that renting a cottage is different from reserving a room at a hotel, bed and breakfast or resort. The benefits of renting include having a home experience with full home advantages available to you throughout you stay.
In addition to bedrooms and bathrooms, the cottages offer living areas, fully stocked kitchens or kitchenettes, CD players. We have internet wireless in some of the cottages, on the garden and the lobby of the main house.
The happy client is the one who rents a cottage and makes use of it in the same way it makes use of its own home.
PAYMENTS - a 30% deposit of the total cost quoted, must be paid, within 4 days of the booking. Before a PREVISIONAL booking can be taken (until this deposit is in place, the booking remains an enquiry only and therefore it can be booked by another Guest).
The deposit will be deducted from the total cost quoted to the Guest and the balance can be paid during your stay. Casas Valleparaizo will contact you once fully confirmed.
Guests can either pay by bank transfer, credit card or paypal.
CLEANING SERVICE - Maid service is provided 3 times a week, Monday to Friday, for all cottages. Please note that there is no maid service during weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and on Public Holidays. Made service includes bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and fire-place and floors. Also note that the washing of the kitchen pots/pans/dishes and the cleaning of the BBQ are not part of the daily service, however if there is time, attention will be given to the kitchen.

INSURANCE - Please not that there is no holiday travel insurance include in your booking, therefore you may want to take this option through your usual family broker or travel agent when booking your flights. We firmly recommend that you consider insurance cover for cancellation, personal accident & liability, medical expenses, loss of luggage, cash, legal documents and theft, etc. If you do bring valuables, please insure them on your person at all times. Casas Valleparaizo are not responsible and accept no responsibility for any loss.
LIABILITY - In the unlikely event, due to extraordinary circumstances that the accommodation should become unavailable after confirmation to you (and payment made in full), we will immediately advise thereof. In the event of the property being sold, every effort will be made to relocate and/or upgrade before the refunding in full. Our aim will be to provide you with suitable alternative accommodation or similar size and equal to / or better than the property booked. If alternative is not found, you immediately will be entitled to a full refund of the accommodation payments having been received by is.
COMPLAINTS - In the unlikely event that you should have a complaint whist on holiday, please immediately inform Housekeeping, who will do their best to resolve any problem without delay. Any claim against Casas Valleparaizo, you can request the Book to the Housekeeping.
SATISFACTION FORM - For any wishing to record any facts or points of view, every Guest is provided with a Questionnaire which can be completed and left at the cottage on departure. Management is very grateful for you kind collaboration in filling this form.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE - There are no definite changeover days (due to flights being available on most days). The cottages will be ready for arrivals at 14.00h and departure time is untill 12.00h. Please help us to ensure your cottage is ready for occupancy by informing us the flight details and the approximate time of arrival. Should your arrival be outside normal opening hours (10:00h to 18:00h), Saturday or Sundays, then you must inform us so someone will be waiting for you at the main house. We recommend to coming strait from the airport to Casas Valleparaizo, because occasionally you can occupy the cottage earlier, and if not, you can go shopping near by meanwhile.
The minimum period of the stay is 2 nights. Occasionally, it is possible for Guests top vacate the cottage later, so please check with the Housekeeping.
