This was our first visit to Madeira and we liked it very much. Especially this house, the beautiful garden and the last but not the least the good care and beautiful flowers from Leonor. We didn´t have time to visit the whole Island so we have to come back.

We spent a magnificent week at Levadinha in November 2009! The very warm and personal welcome, the wonderful privacy, the comfort, even in early November we had the chance of sometimes sunbathing (!), despite the height, the view and the flowers. This is a marvellous spot. We had a very nice and quiet holiday with the Isle of Madeira easily to be explored by car from here or by foot (a Levada at your front porch).

We took our (not yet walking) 1 year old who enjoyed the house and surroundings just as much as we did.  Very recommendable as far as I am concerned. Hope that you all have coped well/sufficiently with last winters terrible floods/heavy rainfall.

What a great time we had here on Madeira and specially in this great and beautiful cottage at Casas Valleparaizo. So much space in such a quiet environment with these beautiful gardens walks and sites. So thanks to Sofia for this heavenly place on earth and to Leonor for her cleaning and nice words.

We enjoyed our stay in Casas Valleparaizo very much and our cottage. Casa das Pinhas was very lovely and more that we expected. It reminded us to the film “Lord of Rings_” and we felt the Hobbit in “the Shire”. Special thanks to Leonor, she was very helpful.

We spent two weeks here on the Island and in Casa da Vaquinha. We have had a great time here. The cottage itself has a very welcoming atmosphere. For the rest Leonor did everything possible to make us feel at home. Coudn´t have been better.

Madeira is a beutiful island. We do not recomend any specific trip. There are many beautiful places. If we return we will surely check-in here again. Thanks for taking care of us.

We spent 2 weeks in Casa Campo. A lovely and cosy cottage. The surroundings are beutifull,  full of plants and flowers.

Everthing was well taken care of and we had a wonderful housekeeper, LEONOR.

Casa da Maçã is a very nice, comfortable and pleasant house. In the evening it was chillier so we used the fire-place. Leonor, the housekeeper, was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed allot our stay.

We stayed in Casa do Alho, from the 30th of December to the 5th of January 2011. We had a great time. We hardly saw the Island because we wanted to go back home early every day to sit near the fireplace. Thank you for your warm hospitality!

me, my husband and our nearly 2 year old daughter visited your place in March 2010. We really loved this holiday, and I dream that we may come back sometimes. My daughter Maria still remembers Leonor and how they fed the birds together. Now Maria has a little brother (2 months old now). I hope he will also see Madeira when he grows a bit older. It would be nice to see also your photos on the web site, then I could show them to Maria :)

We stayed here for 2 weeks of relaxation, sight seeing, and hiking, and this place perfectly suited our needs. There are a couple of very cozy casas on the premises, dropped against the mountain side. Although only a short drive away from the airport, and close to supermarkets, restaurants, and the city of Funchal, the place felt pleasantly secluded. Each casa was shielded off from the others by trees and shrubbery; although it was very early in the year (February) several of them were already in full bloom, giving it a lush appearance. The presence of peacocks added to an almost tropical atmosphere.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful; they made us feel right at home.
